Open To More Joy By Exploring Your True Nature

Given the many and varied challenges we face in our lives, it may seem like true Joy is elusive.

The truth, though, is that Joy – which I call Boundless Joy – is always accessible. And you can take steps to have it be more fully present in your experience of life.

As a starting point, it is important to understand the distinction between happiness and Joy.

Happiness is typically experienced as a temporary feeling that arises when one of your particular desires is fulfilled, or when you view your circumstances as being favorable.

True Joy, in contrast, is an energetic state of being. As such, you can experience Joy regardless of your circumstances or what is happening around you. Since Joy is a high-level frequency, you can take steps to allow that energy to flow through you with greater ease and grace.

Here are some steps you can start taking right now to increase your capacity for experiencing Boundless Joy.

  • Take steps to uplift yourself by being kind to yourself and by embracing self-care. Look for opportunities to eat more nourishing food, drink more pure water and get sufficient sleep.

  • Be aware of negative self-talk and focus instead on more self-affirming thoughts. Notice when you have thoughts that put you down or suggest that you are somehow not enough or not good enough. Embrace that you are a perfect and complete aspect of the divine and cancel out any thoughts that suggest otherwise.

  • Engage in activities that lift you up and can help raise your vibration. Spend more time in nature. Connect regularly with positive people who encourage and support you. Spend less time on social media or watching the news.

  • Explore your true multi-dimensional nature. You are an eternal being having a human experience. There is much more to you than you may realize. You also have more access to support and guidance than you may realize. Because this is the truth of who you really are, you can also come to more fully understand that you are not the voice in your head. You are the one who observes this voice and chooses whether or not to accept or go along with what is being said.

  • Clear your energy field. As an eternal being having a human experience, you are experiencing your life through an energy field that consists of many facets and layers. This energy field can have blockages that arise for a variety of reasons, including as a result of your thoughts, emotions and limiting beliefs, as well as from stress. You can learn how to clear your energy field so energy flows through it with greater ease. This is something that requires ongoing focus and attention, although some initial work in clearing blockages can have a powerful effect.

  • Connect directly with the frequency of Joy. You can learn to do this. And if you also work to clear your energy field and take other steps to raise your vibration, your ability to connect with this frequency and maintain it within your energy field will grow.
